Robotics with PIC μC Training

7742 Learners

Robotics with PIC μC training is a PIC microcontroller and embedded based training to give exposure about autonomous robots. The curriculum provides detailed study on robotics fundamentals, Embedded C programing, and PIC (PIC16F877A) microcontroller. Participants also learn about how to provide basic interfacing through LED, LCD, seven segment display, and use of relays. How to provide locomotion to the autonomous robots is also discussed in the robotics training. Hands-on exposure is gained by working on different projects on robotics.

Upon the completion of training, you will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of robotics
  • Differentiate between different types of locomotion in robots
  • Differentiate between C and Embedded C
  • Create Embedded C codes using data types, operators, control flow statements, arrays, pointers, and functions
  • Work on PIC (PIC16F877A) microcontroller
  • Use special functions such as USART (Universal Synchronous Asynchronous Rx / Tx), MSSP (Master Synchronous Serial Port), PWM (pulse width Modulation), I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit), ADC (Analog To Digital Convertor)
  • Provide interfacing through different methods
Target audience
  • Students from third and fourth year of BE / B. Tech./ M.Tech / Diploma courses (Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Electrical).
  • Working professionals from embedded systems and related domains.
  • Professionals willing to understand or switch their working area to Robotics with PIC microcontroller
Prerequisites
  • Candidates having knowledge of electronics fundamentals coupled with some programming experience are the ideal participants for this course.
  • The knowledge equivalent to EE1: PIC microcontroller course is essential.
